• Hey,
I love the Owl Carousel Plugin. On my own site it “turns around” without any problem.
But I want to use it on another site also and there the plugin doesn’t work. On this site I use the porto theme.
I check a lot of different placements without any change.
The whole system is up to date, wordpress version 4.7.3, php 7, all plugins are ok. I also try to delete the whole foo plugin incl. owl carousel and install it once again. No change.
Do you have any idea what I can do to run to run owl carousel to turn around?
    Thank you and best regards
    Barbara

Can you provide a link to the example of it not working so I can see the problem live?

    Yes, of course.

Here are two examples. Both have this adjustments:
    Loop: yes
    Autoplay: yes

There’s nothing obvious that stands out that would cause that. But I have another user who’s site I’ve been helping build that has a similar glitch. I’ll be looking into that more this week. I’ll do my best to give you an update by the end of the week or the weekend.

    Thanks!

    Dear Matt,

please have a look on the mobile version of this side:
    https://www.rvr-spd.de/ruhrverband-copy

    The pictures are warped.
But I think owl carousel has an responsive design?

    Thank you for your answer.

The images do not look “warped” as far as I can tell. But they are “hard cropped” to 250×250, similar to the settings you showed in your previous PDF above. Cropping them like that means the left and right sides will be cut off. If you don’t want that to happen then disable the “Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions” option.

I haven’t yet dug deeper into the original issue. I do plan to do that as soon as I can. I develop and support this plugin outside of my normal work (which is quite demanding), so I’ll do my best, but I appreciate your patience.

    Hey Matt,
Owl Carousel works abolutly perfect with my own site, which uses a different template. Your plugin is the best photo plugin, there is no good alternative. So thank you very much for your work!

I asked a wordpress expert and he says it’s possibly easier to find the mistake in the Porto theme. I will talk to my customer next week if we would instruct a software engineer because I want to use the lovely Owl Carousel. ??

    Best wishes
