• Is there any way that you can use your own password when logging into
    the wp-admin of your site because the generated password will not work
    and when i ask them to send me another password i never receive it

  • sure, change your password. its right there, on your profile page in the wp-admin area.

    I always recommend strong passwords like ‘God’ (note that caps too), or ‘love’, or ‘password’. Those are sure to keep out the bad guys.

    PS: if you are trying to change your password without accessing the admin area .. Im going to defer to someone else, because Im not convinced the passwd change that are made in the database are being done correctly once the salting is happening. Maybe I just dont get it, but I dunno.

    I think ben is having the exact issue that I posted earlier in the evening.

    I don’t have my admin or any other password. I go through the reset screen, and it mails me a link. I click the link, but I never get the new password that it tells me to check my mail for. I think ben is seeing the same thing judging by his “i never receive it” comment.
