P2 High CPU Load Issue !

TryInstall, p2 can indeed be resource-heavy with many visitors online concurrently. There isn’t anything I can think to suggest other than increasing your server power, unfortunately.

there is no other way to decrease server load ?
what you think if i disable ajax ? already disable mentiondata, changed var update to 720000.
i just need p2 theme front-end as i told you not other features.
Please help me

P2 relies heavily on AJAX for many of its unique features and so I don’t recommend disabling it.

The team behind P2 previously gave us the following explanation for high CPU load:

The reason P2 just isn’t going to deal that well with lots and lots of users [even if not logged in], all accessing the site at the same time, especially on a shared host. Each user who has a P2 window open is continuously polling the server, so they’re effectively sitting there hitting refresh. If you’re on a server that can’t handle a bunch of concurrent users on WordPress (e.g. most shared hosting setups), then it’s probably going to choke in this situation.

As Kathryn noted, the best suggestion we can offer is to increase your server power or to contact your host.

Still finding the solution for it. i don’t want to use any other theme. if someone know how to reduce resources consumption issue in P2 please tell me.
