P2 theme Hashtagger plugin = Twitter auto-embed broken

    Hi there,
    First of all, thanks a lot for this plugin, it’s exactly what I was looking for!
    I do notice a small bug though. Using it on a P2 theme install, the twitter card auto-embed feature no longer seem to be working: If I copy and paste a simple twitter link (for example https://twitter.com/newscientist/status/699307580607303680 ) in a post, before enabling the plugin it displays the beautiful embedded Twitter card, and after enabling the plugin, it just display the content text-only version of the tweet (styled like a quote).
    A minor inconvenience, but I thought I would point it out in case you can see what is happening and can patch it in a future version.

  • I’m not able to reproduce that. On my test site it works fine with WordPress 4.5, P2 Theme 1.5.8, hashtagger 3.3 and no other activated plugins. Maybe a conflict with another plugin?

    Is it possible for you to temporarily deactivate all other plugins and test it again?
