package babel in spanish

Hello

I want to configure that the render of the mathjax is in spanish. I tried it with

\usepackage[spanish]{babel}

in Custom LaTeX preamble but it did not work. For example I want that \sen(x) displays \( \mathrm{sen}(x) \) or \lim displays \( \text{lím} \), etc.

In general, what happens with the packages define there?
