package weight + cash on delivery extra charge

    Hi, just to let you know the site is not live just yet.
    Two questions:
    1. Package weight: we set up all the parameters (product weight, shipping method with payment based on weight) but when we test, the system doesn’t calculate the extra weight of the package to charge accordingly. For instance. We set a 4-euros charge up to 2 kg. When we add items above 2 kg, the system doesn’t change the charge. What should I do?
    1. Extra charge per package for cash on delivery method: when we send a package cash on delivery, the courier charges extra fees. We need the system to calculate the package based on weight AND the courier’s fees. How do I set this?

    Thanks for contacting us,

    1. If setup is correct it should work, in SureCart you can define shipping profiles by product weight: https://prnt.sc/WJUCcMVTMAM8 if something here is not working as it should please start a support ticket and we will investigate it.
    2. I understand the situation but how system can determine item wight and calculate shipping for COD methods? first you need some logic on how those fees are calculated. I don’t think this is possible to track with SureCart, perhaps you need to handle it outside of the system.
