Padding top and bottom

Love the plugin.
Suggestion:
I’d like there to be an option for padding at the top and bottom, that is, if using a dark theme have a line above and below be dark. As is the contrast is a bit harsh and sudden (for lack of better terms).

Also: choice for default language in settings.
