  • You could try removing the padding and instead using a margin on the content of that page section (paragraph tags). It seems to work when tested in Firefox using Firebug…but you’d need to check it on the actual site.

    hmmm trying to fix this bot the content shifts with it, the content just gets smaller.

    will try to figure it out tomorrow.

    Just noticed that it looks like you are not using a twentyeleven Child Theme — which is a big problem — as you absolutely need a clean copy for trouble shooting and because all of your changes to the theme will be overwritten when the theme or WP is updated. Believe me, you really don’t want to be in that situation down the road when you’ve worked really hard to make your site the way you want.

    So before you do anything else, create a child theme and transfer all of the changes you’ve made to the theme to the child. Then download a clean copy of twentyeleven; activate the child theme and THEN proceed with this…
