• Hello. Thanks for your support!

I have done my best configuring W3 Total Cache, but there are 2 things which have been challenging. I have tried different settings, but the results remain the same- Page and Browser cache.

1- What are the best settings for website pages that updates almost every 5mn? Our site is a user based site so users are posting continually.

I have played with the “Purge” settings, but the results didn’t change. The updates were not still showing on the pages.

2- Almost the same question… What are the best settings for browser cache for a site that updates almost every 5mn? Our site is a user based site so users are posting continually.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

You can use cache preload option in Performance>Page cache and scroll down to Cache Preload sub-box

    Thread Starter xtensions

    Thanks for the support!

I tried that option before and didn’t see any changes in how long it takes for the page to refresh. Right now as you can see in the screenshot, its set on “900 Seconds” which “15 mn” but when a new post is published even after hours is still showing the old posts until we manually empty the page cache. https://prntscr.com/lf26vc

My other question would be does W3 Total Chache Work with WP custom posts type?

    Thanks!
