page and object cache enabled

because of session handling w/ my own php cart scripts I was not able to use page cache as default cache, so I have enabled object cache with the WP Fragment Cache plugin …
If object cache is enabled, now sessions are created also if I use both, object and page cache.
Can I use both or should the page cache disabled when using Object cache?
