Page and Post Bug in 3.6-beta1-24113

    Hello i have also made a ticket in the dev area but the last time a made a bug ticket it went no where so i am posting it here in hopes that someone will do an update fast. the problem that i am getting is that when you goto the pages or posts to do an update the ( Visual ) will not show up but the ( Text ) does show up and this just happen last night when i did and update to the new version ( 3.6-beta1-24113 ).

    Edit: i am using FF 20.0.01 also checked chrome with no luck.

  • Did you check your profile to make sure that the checkbox for “Disable the visual editor when writing” was unchecked?

    If it is unchecked, the visual editor *should* show up for you. (It works for me on 3.6-beta1-24113).

    yes it is unchecked and its still not working i have also checked the setting on FF & chrome still no luck?? i have checked IE8 and it does work on that but i do not like working with microsoft’s browser to many bugs. it all started with this update( 3.6-beta1-24113 )??

    Both tabs are working fine for me using Firefox 20 and 3.6-beta1-24113

    If you are running any plugins, deactivate all of them, then check if the visual editor returns.

    3.6-beta2 was just released today, so upgrade that install and see if that fixes your problem.

    You might also try doing a clean install of 3.6-beta2 to see if the problem persists.
