I don’t think issue on your website with smart slider is PHP issue.

Maybe you should take a debug on js script to look what issue get them break.

Because i’m not sure about all script or plugins setup on your website and i can’t help to debug on this.

Thanks for the suggestions @boy8xnoname. I just figured out by accident how to solve this. Firefox for Android has an option “Debug via USB” that you can use to get the developer console on your desktop PC and see the messages as if you are debugging a page in desktop Firefox. Turns out the issue was bad merging of some JS files. Setting it to defer and not merge fixes things.
