Page Builder and Post Formats issues

  • First issue is I cannot get Page Builder to show up for posts editing even though I have enabled it in settings.

    Second issue is everything under the Post Formats section doesn’t seem to add anything to my post once published. Tried an image and image gallery, neither appears in post.

    Any help appreciated.

    I managed to figure out the second issue. As for the first issue, I discovered that the Page Builder doesn’t appear when editing old posts. It does appear on new posts created. As I just started working on my website and have only been editing prefab posts I never saw the Page Builder. When I switched to create a new post then it appeared. So it’s there in creating new but not in editing old.

    That’s odd. Do you have the classic editor plugin installed on your site?

    OK, after my latest tests it seems that any demo site content posts for the Kadence Ascend theme that was not originally built with the Page Builder will not load the Page Builder. Any new posts and re-editing new posts yes the Page Builder shows up. Not a big deal as I have to replace all the demo content anyways.

    That’s strange. I wonder if the import did not fully complete. Let us know if you have questions getting anything set up!
