• Is it possible to add custom fields in Site Origin Page Builder to edit animations? There is a plugin called ‘SO Page Builder Animate’ that does this, but it hasn’t been updated in a few years.

    Dear Shaun,

Thanks for using the Animate It!

Using the Widgets Classes section, you can add animation classes to individual sections in Siteorigin Page Builder.

I tried Site Origin on my Local server and was able to add animation using the following steps:

    1. I went to Animate It! classes generator ( https://www.downloads.eleopard.in/class-generator-wordpress ) and generated the animations that I want.

    2. I copied the animation classes and pasted then on Widget Classes box in the SiteOrigins Widget

Please let me know if this works for you.

Hi there, sorry I wasn’t quite clear in my original post. Animate It! works perfectly with Page Builder by using the CSS Classes sections, and I’ve used it on many websites. What I would like though is a quicker way to add the animations without having to refer to a separate website.

The plugin I mentioned in my first post adds the animation types, delay and duration as drop down menus within the page builder admin layout, so you can easily choose from all available settings without having to copy and paste long CSS classes from an external website.

I just wondered if this was on your roadmap for the future?

    Dear Shaun,

    I am sorry for misunderstanding.
The thing is, Site Origins discards any of the buttons added via Animate It! or similar plugins.

That’s the reason why what I stated before is the most clean way to add the animations.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
