    Hi @joyryde,
When using this plugin you do not need those 2 rules as the plugin takes care of it. So, please disable (toggle off) the Rule 1 & 3 and keep the Rule 3 (which I hope is added by this plugin).

Also inside your Cloudflare dashboard > Caching > Configuration > Make sure that Browser Cache TTL is set to Respect Existing Header.

Let me know when these things are done and page rule no 1 & 2 are disabled.

I deleted the first 2 rules. The last was created by your plugin.

Browser Cache TTL?was alread set to?Respect Existing Header.

    Hi @joyryde,
Thanks. One last thing that I want you to do is inside your Cloudflare dashboard it seems you have “Bot Management” enabled. Inside your Cloudflare dashboard > Security > Bots > if you have Bot Fight Mode enabled. Please disable that and let me know.

    Hi,

The hosting company Cloudways said to enable that because our attorney discovered criminals who scraped our website using bots and stole all of the data, and then republished it illegally onto their website.

    Hi @joyryde,
Along with disabling Bot Fight mode, can you please let me know the followings:

    1. Inside the Caching > Cache Rules – do you have any rules set to modify cache behaviour?
    2. Are your using Cloudflare Workers to modify cache behaviors or site behavior in any way?

    (@isaumya)

    Hi @joyryde,
Can you just momentarily disable the bot fight mode? So that I can run some tests and then we can discuss about the bot scraping issues.

    (@joyryde)

Caching > Cache Rules are empty.

Bot Fight Mode > temporarily disabled now.

Cloudflare Workers > Not sure what this is so I don’t think we use it.

    Hi @joyryde,
Are you sure that you have completely disabled the Bot Fight Mode as I am still seeing cookies coming from that: https://i.imgur.com/glyXy6m.jpeg

Can you please double check that it is completely disabled and also purge your entire Cloudflare cache?

    Thread Starter joyryde

    (@joyryde)

    Yes, it was completely disabled:

I purged the cache using your plugin just now.

    Hi @joyryde,
Can you purge the cache using Cloudflare dashboard first: https://i.imgur.com/OVkTIkR.jpeg

That is so wired as the cookie is still getting added despite you disabling the feature.

    Thread Starter joyryde

    (@joyryde)

I clicked Purge Everything from within the Cloudflare Dashboard now.

    Hi @joyryde,
Along with purging cache from Cloudflare, please also purge the entire cache from Cloudways cache.

I purged the server cache (All Pages).

    Hi @joyryde,
Is there a way to momentarily disable Cloudways cache and if there is, please disable that and then click purge everything from Cloudflare dashboard.

I am still seeing that bot protection cookie in the response header of your webpage.

    Thread Starter joyryde

    (@joyryde)

Cloudways installed the Proxy Cache Purge plugin on our website and I have used its feature to disable all server caching for 24 hours.

I then clicked?Purge Everything?from within the Cloudflare Dashboard.
