• Ok I’m trying to use my wordpress install more as a website rather then just a blog. As a result I’m creating a lot of static pages. All of these pages are falling into the sidebar navigation under the same generic header “Pages” when really I want to split them up so I have different categories for static pages.

Here is the structure I’m after:

    About:
Person 1 (links to profile page)
    Person 2
    Person 3

    Films
Film 1 (links to film page)
    Film 2
    Film 3

    How do I do this?

  • There might be an easier wah, here’s how I did it:

Created the static pages. (Person 1, Person 2, Film 1, etc.)

Created the categories. (About, Films, etc.)

Created the links in Blogroll. (Person 1, Person 2, Film 1, etc.)

The links point to your static pages and are assigned the correct category.

If you are using sidebar widgets you can just use a links widget to display your categorized links to your static pages.
