Page categories not showing up

  • All of a sudden my tags and categories are not showing up when I create or edit a page. They are there for a post, though. I disabled all my plugins and still the problem is there. I restored a backup from yesterday but still the same.

  • @jskilling, tags and categories are not available for PAGE, they are meant to be available when you are editing or adding a post only.

    They’ve been available to me in all versions so far. I use them extensively!

    unfortunately, i dont remember if they were ever available to me in any previous versions too

    maybe you were using some plugin to achieve this?

    same thing just happened in one of my word press sites. any known issues to resolve this?

    Any chance we can have a look at the site. I think it would be ultra helpful. If not, perhaps take 20 mins to write a full bloaty post that describes in more detail. I think you’ll get your answer better then ??
