Hi, I’m having a problem with constant reloading in the subdirectory for the English version of my website “/en” (the main domain is the Spanish version). What is happening is that I open the page in Chrome, Mozilla or Edge and I get this parameter in the URL of the page: “cmplz-force-reload=1712749443940”. It also reloads once again when I accept or reject cookies.

Other people report that it keeps reloading the page, over and over again, do you know why this is happening? I’d appreciate any help.

    Thanks!

    Hi @alexa1et,

Could you provide an URL to the website in question, so that we can take a look at the described behavior as well?

    Kind regards, Jarno

Also, I deactivated the Complianz plugin on the English site and it was automatically deactivated on the Spanish site as well. However, when I check the English site, the cookie banner still appears but not on the Spanish site.

    Why could this be happening?

    Hi @alexa1et,

When visiting the above URL in a fresh Incognito window, what are the necessary steps to reproduce the ‘constant reload’ issue? I can’t seem to replicate this behavior on your site.

The “Force Reload” is performed when revoking consent in Firefox, as in this case it is necessary to fully revoke & block the scripts that had previously been consented to & loaded.

If the banner still shows while you disabled the plugin, it’s likely still being cached somewhere. Try purging the cache in any optimization tools like WP Rocket.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hello!

Well, some of my co-workers say that as soon as they enter the page this happens, but it happens mainly on mobile devices and Mac OS. That’s all they do and it also happens if they access other internal pages.

As for the banner that keeps popping up, I will follow your recommendations. Thanks!
