Page content depending on the referrer

  • I’ve tried for an hour but so far failed to find a plugin that will allow me to tweak the content on a page based on whether the visitor comes from a particular website.

    I’ve found some ways to edit the PHP courtesy of stackoverflow, but that’s a bit too hardcore for me.

    EXAMPLE CONTENT
    “Welcome. Here at Company X we…”

    EXAMPLE CONTENT BASED ON REFERRER WOWZERS.WEBSITE.COM
    “Hi, thanks for dropping by from Wowzers. Here at Company X we…”

    Does anyone know of such a plugin? Thanks in advance.

    Something like:

    <ifreferer=wowzers.website.com>Hi, thanks for dropping by from Wowzers.</ifreferer> Here at Company X we...

    (P.S. I know referer is misspelled. That’s how it’s spelled in this context.)
