• hey, when i make a page on wp, it has the same format as my posts in my blog. how can i customize the pages appearances. do i need to make a page.php or something?

    ALSO, i want my pages and posts to come up a words in the url like https://lirae.net/wp (if you see what i mean) and this can be modified with permalinks. what shall ichange it to?

  • 1. Yes, basically making page.php and the like — then when you’re in Admin > Write Page, you can select one of the page templates you’ve made in the drop-down menu. For example you might have one for Archives Template, and one for Links Template, and one for Photos Template.

    2. I don’t understand your exact question but yes you do that with permalinks, there is a shorthand guide to permalinks right there next to the Admin > Options > Permalinks, so you can see the code to use Post Title, or Month, or whatever keyword you want to toss in.
