Before I throw my laptop out of the window i need some help. My website shows different colors for my link text on Chrome vs Safari. Of course neither is correct. I have purged the cache in the browsers and used lightspeed cache plugin to purge the cache on the site but they still show differently. This is especially troubling because I am trying to figure out why certain text (link text in particular) is not showing the correct color as input in the CSS. Now i have no idea which browser (or if either) is showing correctly. What to do?
    Thank you!!!

  • Hi @john_e_peck,

I hope you haven’t thrown your laptop yet! ??

Could you please provide some screenshots of what is the “correct” color and what color is showing on your end for both chrome and safari?

Are you referring to all the links like the footer menu, header menu, or just some links in the text? Can you send a screenshot and attach the link (if it’s not homepage) so we can have better understanding of the issue?

    Thanks!

Its just certain links. You can see on some there is light text on light background and some have dark text on dark background. Should be light on dark or dark on light. Not sure how to send attachments here but home page is https://s518014495.onlinehome.us

Obvious which are correct and which are not…you can see the ones that are correct.

    Hi @john_e_peck,

I have checked your website (homepage) again and at least for me it’s not obvious where are the links in question, I don’t see any links with light text on light background unless those are not visible at all (the color is exactly the same) so if you can send screenshots of areas in question – that would be really helpful.

    Thanks!
