Page Disappearing!

    Hi Guys,

    Firstly, I love your responsive menu plugin. It’s one of the most useful plugins for any site these days. I was just going through and updating various sites to the latest version 3.0.11. All was going well, but I got to one site where the contents of the entire site just disappears! I can get into the back end with no problem, but the front end is completely blank. There’s only the head and body in the code, with no content, scripts etc at all.

    I can confirm that it is Responsive Menu that is at least partially the cause. When I disable the plugin, the site comes back. I can also have the plugin active, but remove the short code from the template and there is no problem. As soon as the short code is there and the plugin is activated, the page, and entire site disappears.

    Have you any idea what might be causing this?

    Hi,

    I can confirm that it’s this latest update that causes this problem. I rolled back to the 3.0.10 version and all seems ok.

    Hey there,

    Do you have any php error logs or anything that may be useful for me to debug with?

    Alternatively a dev environment setup with the issue with 3.0.11 on so I can take a look?

    Hi,

    That’s a tricky one! It was only this particular site that had issues. Even the staging site didn’t. It might be something to do with the HHVM server configuration (which we don’t have in staging). We had a lot of trouble with HHVM after a server move and have eventually removed it completely.

    What I might do is try the update again late one night next weekend and see what happens. I’ll let you know if it falls over again!
