Page displayed instead of results

Hi,

I have a page called events which has the eventbrite api on it and so uses a custom template. When I search for the term ‘events’ instead of showing a list of links on the search results page it renders the actual events page. Thus my other event related pages aren’t easy to discover.

If I add the page id to the search everything ‘ignore’ list then the search results work as normal.

Any ideas how this could be happening and what steps I can use to get the events page excerpt to display in the results page.
