    Dear MailPoet,

When a user completes a form to sign up for our newsletter on our home page then correctly answers MailPoet’s built-in CAPTCHA question on the subsequent page, they are taken to page that says “This page doesn’t seem to exist”. I have tried re-saving the permalinks to update them, then in MailPoet > Settings > Basics tab, selecting a different page as the Confirmation / Success / Manage Subscription page, saving it, then setting it back to the “MailPoet page”. But this did not work. What page is supposed to show after answering the CAPTCHA and how do I get MailPoet to redirect there after answering the CAPTCHA?

    Many thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello there @kthoven ,

Thank you for reaching out and explaining the issue you’re experiencing with the newsletter sign-up form and CAPTCHA.

The page that appears after a user correctly answers the CAPTCHA is usually set up during the form creation process. You can configure this in the “After submit” settings of the form. Within this setting, you have the option to either display a custom message or redirect users to a specific page of your choice.

Could you please check the following:

    • Go to MailPoet > Forms, edit the form in question, and look for the “After Submit” section.
    • Verify if you’ve set it to redirect to a specific page.
    • Check that the selected page is published and loading correctly.

If the page is set up but still resulting in a “page not found” error, there could be an issue with the page itself, so ensuring the page loads independently may also help identify the issue.

Please give that a try, and let me know if the problem persists or if you need any further assistance. I’m here to help!

    Dear Ojoma,

Thank you so much, that was it exactly! It turns out that somehow the page set in the “after submit” section got reset to a default of no page from a dropdown menu of options. I set each of the forms to the page I wanted and, presto, it worked. Thank you for your very detailed explanation of the steps. It solved the problem right away!

I’ll mark this thread as resolved now.

    Cheers!
