Well, when I make linebreak in the visual-editor I expect it to create a br-tag or something similar in the html?

Is there no HTML formatting in the Post Edit Box when you switch from visual mode to HTML mode?

O.K. now I see the link.

Have you tried using the editor in HTML mode, adding your <p> tags and text there, then switching to visual mode?

No, as you can see on the images I posted. The second image is the text in the editor when I have pressed the HTML-tab.

I never really thought about it, because I always use the editor in HTML mode, but what you’re describing seems to be default behavior.

My editor does the same thing.

You’d think there would be an option to display tags in HTML mode.

My posts look fine otherwise though.

I would suggest using the editor in HTML mode, and placing your HTML tags manually.

That way you can assign classes to your tags, so you’ll have more control over the formatting, by assigning values to the classes in the style.css

You can’t see the <p> tag or < br /> tag in HTML mode. WordPress automatically adds it on the front end though.
