Page edits on 1 specific page not appearing on live site

  • Hi all. I just had this problem with a different specific page on my site, and now I’m running into it again a few weeks later. (For the life of me, I can’t recall how I resolved the issue the first time.)

    The problem is simple: I make page edits in the dashboard, publish the edited page, and the edits do not show up. This is not a caching issue from what I can tell — it’s only happening with the home page. (I’ve disable caching plugins just to be sure.)

    I’ve cloned the page, deleted the original, and made the new one the active home page…. to no effect. I’m at a loss.

    The only other clue is that the formatting for my email subscription boxes is ever so slightly off when you compare it to functional pages, in both the body and the footer. (Input box size is smaller.)

    Any help out there? Thanks!

    – Are you using a plugin for this subscription boxes? If so, try disabling it and clearing all cache before viewing the edits.

    – Or is this subscription boxes a feature of your theme? if so, try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Nineteen, Twenty twenty, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Yes, I’m using the Sendy Widget Pro plugin for my subscription box.

    I have changed the theme temporarily… and the whole site changes, except that the home page adamantly remains the same old page (using Salient theme).

    If haven’t already, try disabling it.
