    Hi there,

I am using the adventurous theme and when I attempt to edit the following fields in ‘page edit’ (sidebar layout, header featured image options, content featured image options) as soon as I click ‘update’, the changes will not be remembered and when I go back to those areas, they’ve reverted back to the default choices. I was brought to this issue by my attempt to properly install a ‘featured image’ on my page, which has shown up like this https://www.openroadtravelperu.com/our-tours/
and not in the actual header of the page like this https://catchthemes.com/demo/adventurous/about/ (the Buddha photo)

I’ve searched all the forums and am about driven to tears by frustration right now. Please help ??

    Thank you

  • @saremcdee: I just check in our server and edited the page. It’s working fine. I just tested all sidebar layout, header featured image options, content featured image options. So, suspect if there is any plugin conflict. Can you try disabling plugin one by one and check in.

If this doesn’t fix it then please post in our free official support forum at https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/. Then I can contact you personally to check in your site in details.

    Sorry for the trouble.

The header image that is showing up in the second link (Buddha photo) appears to be a site-wide header, and not post/page specific. Look in the theme options to set this (Usually under Appearance > Theme Options). Look for some option to edit the site’s header image. Sorry, I’m not familiar with this theme so I don’t have specifics.
Click the other pages in the navigation on the sample site – it seems like they are using a random header image, as the Buddha photo switches to a road photo randomly (one page will display the Buddha, and then the road another time you click it).
It does appear as if your featured images are displaying correctly, though not in the position you want them to be in.

Thanks so much to Catch Themes. They fixed this minor issue in less than an hour! Highly recommended, will now definitely be signing up for the pro theme.
