Page going blank when deactivating plugin slider

Hi. I am running a version of slider revolution(I could not find a specific plugin support page for this). When I tried to deactivate the slider all the content of my site disappeared apart from the menu and background colour. When I reactivated the plugin slider it all came back again. Any ideas how I can fix this as I may want to deactive the plugin for the slider agian sometime! Currently I want to keep the slider as it’s a good one.
