    Hey there,
I fairly new to WordPress and working with the themes as web pages. That said, I just switched over our site to a new theme to kinda change things up a bit. I exported the info then imported the info to the new theme without problem.
I had to reformat some of the HTML but no biggie. The problem I have is when I enter the site URL and go to it directly like a user would the first page is a “Not Found” error, but you can go to the menu at the top and go to the rest of the site.
The other problem I have is under the recreation menu there is a place to leave comments like a blog and I have that unchecked in the settings so I’m not sure what’s going on there.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

Alright, Ifigured out the home page issue but still have the comment area on the Recreation page for some reason. I have comment turned off and it is the only page with that so it’s kinda strange. Theme is Adventure Journal by the way.

I would suggest that you edit that page specifically to make sure it has the comments turned off.

Thanks for the tip. I checked the page from the Pages tab and went to edit it individually and in the edit box as I scroll down to where there comment area is it’s not there on visual and HTML modes.

Very strange I think for it to appear only on one page. I double checked to make sure I have comments turned off. Could it be I need to upload the files again for the old template that I imported?
