You can see ID’s in Manage Posts and Manage Pages.

Yea, but not for the index page. Does that have an ID?

In 2.5, I can’t see the page id under manage-> pages hmm anyone know about 2.5?

I’m having the same trouble with 2.5, can anyone help ??

The page Ids which use to be numbers, no longer work for certain widgets.
in Wp 2.5. (example the Pages widget can no longer exclude certain pages)

Somebody from needs to clarify what the page ID are now.

Yes, please. How do we know what is the page ID now. In previous WordPress versions, the page ID was displayed next to the pages titles in Manage Pages. Why this feature disappeared?

See the bottom of your screen when you hover over a post title in the manage screen.

I have the page ID by hovering, but is there anyway to exclude them anymore through the page widget?

Never mind! I figured out it was easy to keep pages private in 2.5. LOL
I’d been overlooking the little “keep pages private” checkbox just under the save/publish buttons. *blush*
