page ID css not working

    Hi,

    I need to change the css only for a custom page, but it doesn’t work as planned. Normally it goes like this:

    .page-id-2253 p {background-color: red}

    Though it doesn’t seem to apply to the page; also tried to use body.page-id-2253, not working also.

    Where might be the problem?
