Page Information Not Updating

  • I’m having a minor (and strange) problem with my WordPress site.

    I have a page with a permalink of https://localhost/wordpress_4/standard-folders/ (It’s being run on a local host, so this link doesn’t actually go anywhere.)

    When I add information to this page (just some text), update it, and go to View Page, none of the information is on there. The page exists; I don’t get a 404 error, but it just has the title of the page and the rest is blank.

    Now, if I change that permalink at all, something like https://localhost/wordpress_4/standard-folder/ (just dropped the “s”), and update the page, it works fine when I view it.

    Does anyone know what could be causing a particular permalink name to resist having content added to the page?
