This site – https://staging-c26ytri.wordkeeper.net/ (which is a one-page site) – has a GiveWP form near the footer. When you are on the page/site on a desktop, everything is fine. When you are on a mobile device (tablet or phone), the page jumps down to the GiveWP form as soon as you land on the page…and even after you go back up to the top and click on the logo or the Home link in the menu. I can’t replicate the issue on desktop, even when inspecting the mobile version. I asked my web host to look into it, and they found a js file in the source of the page: https://staging-c26ytri.wordkeeper.net/wp-content/plugins/give/build/donationFormBlockApp.js?ver=31fc89b7e11ad4e26840

    Here’s what they said:
It seems like this is indeed coming from GiveWP and there’s tons of stuff in there that has to do with the page’s auto scrolling. I’m not sure if this is fully related to the issue you’re experiencing but so far it does seem related. I’m saying this because the code is targeting the css class “root-data-givewp-embed” which is where your page lands after refresh.

I’ve added the donation form with a shortcode in an html block AND I’ve tried it with the GiveWP widget, and it’s happening in both situations.

I greatly appreciate your help with this one! Thank you!

    Hey,

Did you found a solution for this? I got the same problem on my website.

    Regards,

@lucienne1708 I never heard anything back in the forum, but here’s what DID happen: (1) my client upgraded to a paid account so we could get support and (2) when the site went live on their domain, the situation resolved itself. Is your site live or on a staging URL?

    Hey,

Thank you for your reply. The website is not on a staging site and live. We are using the free version. We will probably need to have the paid version due to payment gateways. Hopefully when we have the paid version, this issue will also be resolved for us.

    Hi @stefiharr,

We’re happy that you were able to resolve the problem!

We tried to replicate the issue that you were having, but unfortunately, we couldn’t reproduce it as much as we wanted to be able to help you with your issue.

I’m marking this as resolved for now and should you have further concerns, please reach out in here or in the support ticket that you’ve created.

    Thank you for using GiveWP!

    Have a lovely day.

I’m also having this problem. My site is going live in a week so I can’t share the link just yet but if anyone has a solution other than getting lucky I’d love to know about it!
