Page Jumps??

Hey I’d like to know how I can make a page jump.

What I need to do is make a link from my homepage aviable so I can press it, and then it jumps to a certain place on another page.

I tried the id=”what-ever” without any luck. Maybe its because I use a wrong code?

Atm I use

<h2 style=”text-align: left; font-family: ‘oswald’;”>Online markedsf?ring:</h2>

And I want this one to be the linked page I end up with when I press my link on the homepage.

I tried:

<h2 id=”test; style=”text-align: left; font-family: ‘oswald’;”>Online markedsf?ring:</h2> without any luck.

What can I do?
