Page Layout

  • Hi I am a total newby to wordpress , so I guess I will posting regularly whilst I get started . I have installed instant wordpress and have chosen the theme twenty thirteen . I do not wish to create a blog site and have worked out how to switch that off , but wish to change some of the pages to full width , so that text and images can be added . Can I simply adjust the padding or do I need to install a page layout of some sort.
    Can I have responses in “dummies ” instructions please and any steps I should take. Thanks in advance

    If you just want to make CSS modifications then use a Custom CSS plugin – there is no limit to the CSS modifications you can make on WordPress. The limit comes from your knowledge of CSS.
