Page layout changed after update?

    I updated Phosphor today and had no trouble setting my colour and font settings back to where they should be, but I noticed that all of my site content is sticking to the far left edge of the browser window where there used to be a margin. I’m trying to learn code but right now my knowledge is very sparse and I’m not sure how to solve this problem – I can’t find anything in the theme customization settings that seems to affect it. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

    Ah – I just noticed that my top menu is also left justified, when it used to be centred. In addition, there’s no right margin on my page either – things are going all the way to either edge of the window, no matter what device I check the site on.

    Hi. Sorry about the trouble. I haven’t noticed any such issues on my test sites. Can you post the URL to your website?

    @sharonhughson have you tried changing the sidebar location from the customizer?

    Yes.
    It was default at “Inherit” (whatever that is) and I have tried both right and left sidebar, 250 px width, and nothing changes from the way it is laid out now. It will remove the sidebar completely when I choose full page layout, but I want the widgets on the side to advertise my books and such.
    After the last update, everything reset to defaults (which I wasn’t too happy about in the first place), but I have tried everything I know to keep the sidebar from dominating the page and nothing works.

    I have figured out the reason behind this problem. However, the next release is not scheduled for a few weeks so in the meanwhile you can fix the problem by adding this to the custom styles in the customizer:

    .widget-area {
    max-width: 250px !important;
    }

    Let me know if this doesn’t resolve the issue.

    all my content is now justified to the left
    did i not get the right up date??
