• Hi all,

This is my first time making an website !

When I look on my laptop the layout is correct (edge). But when I change to another browser like firefox or Chrome a lot of things are off. Also when I look on other PC’s the same happen.

The strange thing is also, when I login to the website wordpress admin with Firefox or Chrome, that browser shows the website correct. Then I close the wordpress admin and open the browser and it looks good for a while (proberbly until I restart the PC or clear the browser).

    Examples of layout errors:
    – Rows are no longer 50/50, on just is 90% and other 10%.
    – Letters are a lot bigger
    – Pictures are a lot bigger
    – Instead of rows sitting in the center now sit on the side. (strange gap in the middle and both items stick to the edge of the oppisit side of the screen

Currently the page is still in development and behind an password I can’t share atm publicly here. ??

Hope some one can help me, and point me in the correct direction !

    Kind regards,

    Rob Reinderink

    hi,

I removed some plugin and seems better. But cant pinpoint the problem yet to one plugin or functionality.

That can be a cache issue. clear the cache from the site if you’re using any cache plugin and also clear the cache from the server side if there has any options for that. After that check the website again.

I wouldnt recommend to add any caching plugin while you are working on your website, it seems to be a caching issue, or any optimization plugin, that could be causing this. Anytime that you need to change the content of your website, turn off all caching and/or optimization plugins and activate it after your changes, so the caching will be regenerated and you will be fine.

    Hi @hidrolix,

I know you can’t share the URL here to reproduce the issue. Try to do that if the issue persists. One of the cause of this kind of issues are the ‘Cache’ plugins. It’s recommended to not use ‘Cache’ plugins on websites under development. Try clearing the cache. Hope this solves your problem.
