Page Link Not Showing in Google Analytics

    Hi there,

    We have installed your plugin into a client’s website and re-directing posts to a pdf. In google analytics the page view is not showing. We have also tried to configure Google Tag Manager to show page view, clicks of the download button (all elements) and link click containing .pdf nothing is work. Since it is re-directing on same domain should not be an issue? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Google Analytics has no way to see that the user viewed that PDF. PDFs are not webpages that can have embedded analytics. They are static files.

    You could solve this by manually firing a page view event for Google Analytics for that URL when the URL is clicked from a webpage on your site, or you could try using a PDF viewing plugin to embed the PDF onto a webpage (and this way, Google Analytics would still fire when that page was visited).
