    Hello,

I have created a basic layout for a site in WordPress, which comprises 5 pages and a few posts.

The pages are listed out on the right hand side of my site but at present the links seem to be broken though because no matter which link is pressed, only the Homepage is displayed.

    What can you suggest?

    Many thanks

  • Hi,
I’ve seen something like that before. Godummy, er, Godaddy has this pitifully lame method of forwarding a domain using an HTML frame. Even if your links work in that scenario, say goodbye to any SEO, for instance. I don’t know if you’re using Godaddy, but this looks nearly the same.

The principle, if it can be called that, is that using a frame you can get your site YourLongAndWindingStrangeURL.com/myblog (or whatever) to appear under SomethingElse.com. I see you’re trying to use https://greenstar.globexposure.net/ in that manner. But even that site seems to be using frames, so there’s some really bad hosting under it all. If greenstar didn’t have those HTML frames, the links may have worked anyway. You have a kind of house of mirrors.

Just go to your site, and then View Source in your browser. It’s nothing but an HTML frame, so even though your links are actually good code, the frame prevents you from accessing them.

Fixing this is beyond the scope of a quick reply. In a nutshell, you could move your WP installation to proper, completely separate hosting of your intended URL. You might want to contact your host tech support to see if they’ll help. If you’ve registered the new domain with them as well, you can probably buy a separate hosting account for it, and copy your stuff to that. That’s about all I can see from the outside.

    Good luck.
