• I use wordpress as a CMS and not a blog on my one site. Basically, all my posts are in categories and not shown on single post pages. Every title links to an outside page. This plugin was perfect for what I wanted. However, it seems as though its a resource hog. According to my wp tuner output, my wp_head took 400 ms to load. When I deactivated the plugin, it went down to 16 ms! I just hacked my wordpress files to do the same thing as this plugin. Anyone know why this plugin would do this?

  • I think you were using that plugin in a way it was never intended to be used. It’s meant to re-direct a few pages – not every post link on a site.

Gotcha, it does more than just redirect, but I needed it just to redirect. I would post what I did but I have Atahaulapa theme and it probably wouldn’t work for any other themes.

My next issue is, when a comment is posted, it goes to the single post page. How can I hack the files to make it redirect to the page its current on? So if its in the ABC category page, I want it to go back to the ABC category page, or tag page.
