page load is incredibly slow with this plugin

    hi! for some reason, the page with this plugin, takes 12 seconds to load. all of my other pages takes under 2 seconds to load. is there anything we can do to speed up that?

    Please note, that the page is 13.6 Megabytes, 10.8 of which is this image.

    Also, the Javascript of Google Maps API is slowing a bit down, but not as much as the mentioned image. Please check the results of the site speed test here.
