HI, all was just wondering if anyone could take a peak at two pages and tell me if your having any page load problems slow speed etc. I’ve tried looking at my shop page which is 900 something kb, looking at options to break that page down into categories and then my home page i can’t really tell whats going on there with firebug….Im seeing 6MB not sure exactly but looks like the widget galleries are big…but the page loads fine for me,
if you have a slower connection that would be great
or if you know what your doing could you inpect these two pages with firebug or other and let me know whats up?
home page- Missourif.l.i.e.s.com (without the periods)
store page Missourif.l.i.e.s.com/c.a.r.p-fl.y-store (without the periods) sorry if there’s an easier way to do that

    thank you very much

    Chris

    Chris,

Just paste your site address the normal way, no harm in that and less frustrating for people trying to help.

You site needs optimization of the code, design and content. Your pages are too heavy, you have some bad plugins, and the combination of these things make the site unusable on slow connections.

Here’s the report on your store page alone:

the least you can do is to install (wp smush it) plugin and under the media tab in your admin area, run a bulk smush to optimize your images somewhat. The rest needs professional tweaking to get the rating to its highest.

On another note, you need to fix your navigation menu as it jumps and doesn’t stay open. Otherwise, nice collection of flies.

    Best of luck,

    Chris
