Page loading slow with plugin enabled

    Hi,

    I’m very interested in purchasing the premium version because of the horizontal filters which look great.

    Unfortunately the plugin slows down the category pages. Extremely. Here’s the page loading times measured with Query Monitor:

    Without YITH: 1.29 seconds
    With YITH: 4.09 seconds

    We have thousands of products and it seems YITH can’t handle this?

    Hi there,
    loading time depends by lot of factors, unfortunately I can’t debug this type of issue here.
    Did you try plugin with only WooCommerce and a WordPress default theme enabled?

    Agree, loading time depends on many factors.

    But I’m talking about the additional increase in loading time the plugin adds. So the only thing that changes is enabling or disabling this plugin.

    Nevermind, I found and paid for another product filter plugin which caches the mysql queries and adds only 0.5 seconds rather than almost 3 seconds like this plugin.

    Please allow me to give you some advice: I suggest you improve the plugin rather than trying to blame the customers. This will result in less support tickets and more sales in the long-term.
