    Hi,

my site started loading all wrong after I updated to WordPress 4.9.7 (although I did update some other plugins too). It loads well in Opera, but only on my laptop where I develop the page, while in other devices and browsers it loads without style.

I already tried disabling all plugins and deleting the cache. Still no solution. I use a Woocommerce Storefront child theme and Elementor Pro page builder. I don’t use any cache plugin, but I do use Autoptimize, although I disabled it and still nothing.

I appreciate any help or ideas. Thanks!

Did you flush your server cache afterward? Because I still see that your site’s resources are optimized and are not being loaded.

    Hi @kjodle

Thanks for your quick response. I reactivated Autoptimize when deactivating it didn′t work. I deleted the browser’s cache, but I guess the server cache is different? Could you please guide me as to how to do it? or send me a link with instructions?

Just now I deactivated Autoptimize again and deleted the browser cache. Still nothing.

Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If you are using SiteLock, manage your caching there.
Flushing Managed host caches. Managed WP hosting often has special caches. If your host has a “Purge Varnish” or “Flush Memcache” tool, try that. You can ask your provider to flush memcache and Varnish for you if necessary.

I am having the same problem at https://www.conferencecapturemedia.com after updating to 4.9.7

I will try flushing any caches.

    Hi,

thank you all for your answers.

After deleting the browser cache and the DNS cache without success, I finally contacted my hosting provider and it turns out that I had uninstalled W3 Total Cache incompletely and some files had stayed in the directory. My hosting provider erased the files and that fixed the website. So it was not the update after all. Hopefully this will help someone else.
