page new feature- how it works ?

Reg WP 2.1.1, I read this in the codex: You can set any “page” to be the front page of your site, and put the latest posts somewhere else, making it much easier to use WordPress as a content management system.

Seems really good, but how to do it ? I’ve been searching in “Write a page”, “Manage”, “Options”etc, but did not found nothing that looked like “set as my front page” or similar.

Or did I misunderstand the meaning ??????
