Page not displaying properly on Internet Archive

    I have a well set up and neatly customized website since 2019. Its working quite well with https, as well.

    But when I try to search the homepage of my website on internet archive, on this link, the entire homepage is disoriented.

    I had experienced this issue with direct access to my website also when I had installed “Really Simple SSL” plugin. After that I had edited .htaccess file which solved the problem.

    But it is still reflecting on Internet Archive. Can anyone guide why this problem is occurring…?

  • Because the archive there is stored from when it took the snapshot, not what’s live on your site now. If you’ve solved the problem then the next snapshot should show it looking correct.

    Just keep in mind that the archive doesn’t always store 100% of things. That would take way too much storage. Sometimes it takes most things, sometimes it drops parts, and only they know what parts they decide on storing or not. If you have any questions it’s best off directing them to the internet archive support team.
