"Page" not Found

  • I saw this issue come up before but because my site was working fine at the time, I didn’t pay any attention. Now I need to. When I open my site, I get the window that says “Not Found,” instead of my Home Page. I have Home Page assigned to “1” under Page Attributes>Order on my Home page’s edit window. All the other pages on my site are numbered in the correct order of their intended appearance and the menu appears correctly. I’m sure it’s an easy fix and thanks in advance.

    Since my last posting, the theme, Photocrati, has also disappeared and I am left with the site info on a plain white screen, as you will see. Do I need to go to delete the theme from wp-content and start over?

    Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Twenty Eleven works, though the Photocrati-themed galleries, as expected, do not work. I tried going back and forth between themes and Photocrati just doesn’t want to respond.

    I can only suggest that you take this up with the theme’s vendors.
