    Hi there @akndsandhu,

Thanks for reaching out, and for sharing the additional insights into what you’re encountering. As you’re landing back on a 404 page during setup please share the following and we can advise on this further to ensure you’re able to successfully connect:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. At what stage are you redirected (ie. Directly after clicking on “Continue” on the sign in with Google page)?
    3. Did you at any point what the standard wp-admin path to something else? I ask as I can see a “loginsadmin” reference in the URL you provided.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. If you did change your admin path previously, and then connected Site Kit I suspect this path is registered on the Site Kit service.

Thanks for the update @akndsandhu. The form response didn’t arrive just yet. I can’t be sure why.

In the meantime are you able to once again change your wp-admin path to what it was previously, before attempting Site Kit setup? It looks like it may have been registered as loginsadmin. You can use a plugin such as Change wp-admin login to add this as your wp-admin path.

Let me know how you get on after attempting Site Kit setup with this path.

    Hi @akndsandhu

The Wordress support thread URL is below:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/page-not-found-error-55

It’s the address of this post, and it will allow us to identify your support topic and site from others who have also submitted the form.

Regardless of submitting the form can you attempt changing your WordPress admin URL to loginsadmin as proposed above? This may allos you to proceed with plugin setup, as it looks like you may have connected with this wp-admin path previously.

    Thanks for the update @akndsandhu.

Can you change the wp-admin path to loginsadmin, from the default wp-admin path. From looking at the callback URL you provided in the support topic the 404 page included this path.

Once you change your wp-admin path to loginsadmin, please then let me know if you’re able to proceed with Site Kit setup.

    Hi James,

Many thanks for the update, and for changing your wp-admin path to reflect the URL Site Kit was redirecting you to. Now that you’ve done so, I can confirm that the path has been changed.

If you’re still encountering a redirect can you try resetting the plugin? After doing so please then attempt setup once more (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit).

Let me know how it goes. If you’re encountering another redirect, feel free to share a screen recording of your experience and we can perform some additional checks. You can use a service such as RecordIt or Loom to share a screen recording.

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
