Hi guy’s, I’m having a problem to display the event details.

In every event I’m getting a page not found instead. Could you help me to resolve this?

Also I want to sort the event list by date, there is a way to archive this?

    Thanks in advance

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To ensure that the pages associated with our plugin are correctly assigned and have the required shortcodes, please follow the steps below:

    1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
    2. Navigate to “Events” in the sidebar menu.
    3. Click on “Settings”.
    4. Within the “Pages” submenu, verify that all the necessary pages are correctly assigned.
    5. Ensure that each page has the appropriate shortcode pasted inside it.

You can sort the event list by date using our shortcode. To see the various shortcodes available, please navigate to “Events” > “Shortcodes” in your WordPress Dashboard. You can use this shortcode:
[em_events order=”asc/desc”] to sort events in ascending or descending order.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Hi thanks for your reply, I did all the steps that you point me (check settings/pages and shortcode) but I still getting a “page not found” in every event detail page

The event detail pages are the only ones with this problem even if I add a new event … the others post types (performers, venues, etc) details work without issue.

    Event details: https://cocinarecords.com/session/noche-de-cantantes/

    Performer detail: https://cocinarecords.com/artista/la-juan-roman/

Let me know if you need any other info

    Thanks

To resolve this please follow the steps.

    • On the WordPress Dashboard
    • Navigate to ‘Pages -> Add New’
    • Add the shortcode [em_events] to the page content and publish the page.
    • Next, assign this new created page as the Events page by navigating to Events -> Settings
    • Go to the Pages submenu, and in the Events Page dropdown, select the new page you just created,
    • Save the changes.

    This should resolve the issue.
