'Page Not Found' shows up on my home page

    Help! I need to put together a portfolio and I keep getting a message on my homepage that says ‘page not found’. I tried 3 themes in utter desperation.

    I am new to WP, so might have done something wrong. I have a feeling that I have deleted my homepage. How can I get it back?

  • There are unlimited possibilities to make something wrong. Perhaps you ca give us some more information (incl. URL)?

    Click on All Pages and check if the homepage you created is still there .
    Go to settings -> Reading -> and under Front Page select your homepage

    Thank you! I resolved it by retrieving my homepage!

    “Page not found” appears on my home page but the other pages are fine. I have tried everything I have seen on different posts but nothing seems to work. anyone with any other suggestions. I am using the Evolve free theme. Thanks
